I've improved the script, it is here in the Wiki for anyone interested.

I've added a new menu item Option [6.] which just basically gives you quick access to the rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck so you can carry on a bit quicker after you've had mains blackout or some other network interruption problem.
(it saves me having to remember the path to db.lck , so I thought you might like it too. ;) )

if you want to implement more "fixing" commands in your script, you can just take (some or all) commands from my fork of pacli:

Thanks excalibur, I'll have a look, though to be honest, I doubt I'll add anything else to allservers, it is just a simple upgrade script in the end. ;)
