AUR- Brave & Vivaldi
« on: 03. May 2016, 18:50:11 »
Im kinda loathed to ask, with these being AUR packages, but as they are not that obscure packages,i just wanted to see if anyone else is having similar building issues.

Over the last week Brave and Vivaldi fail to build ... ive tracked down it to being an npm/nodejs or sqlite3 problem, but none of the bug reports seem to relate to the issue ... and as javascript can be as byzantine as .so file extensions, its got me scratching my head a bit ... though depreciated graceful.js has been flashing red for months, and has been a topic of conversation with regards to other packages.

Im not overly concerned as i have these browsers installed for study purposes rather than main usage ... just fishing for further feedback.

I'll move this in AUR forum.
It perhaps attracts more help there.

Register on AUR and post a comment with your error message. Would increase the chance to find a solution or the maintainer might find a permanent fix.

On it :) ... to a degree, its a case of me overstretching without filling in the appropriate blanks  :o
But was concerned,as im on unstable ... the issue is coming down the chute for testing/stable ... other V8's are more reliable  :P
