Almost but not quite I wrote la, not ls, because I wanted to see the name of your symlink folder and if there are more than one, and also where the link is pointing to...

Did the update yesterday, after my computer came back from repairing. Almost 900MB, almost smooth as silk. I encounter the little glitch of theming broken, with the lightdm appearance broken, and I use arc-git from AUR. Thunderbird has some problems to follow, but it's cool anyway. The rest seems to be working well, you did again a real good job guys, update after update I'm still in love with Manjaro.

OK, I just registered a "smooth update" on the poll as the team did what was needed to assure that at least one theme (besides Adwaita) was ready with the update. That showed foresight and caring for users. They have also been very patient in helping folks over the rough spots despite the work -- and at times repitition. I don't think it is possible to ask for anything more for those heading a distribution.

A couple of footnotes:

@HeartofLion: The cost of having the latest is that we have to do a bit more work at times than with other distros, but the Manjaro teams makes it as painless as possible. Obviously there will be some who do not want to pay the price. The more important question at the moment affects the ISOs that do not use Vertex as the default theme. New users installing those ISOs and updating will now have their system partly broken without knowing why. Redoing ISOs perhaps recently released seems too much to ask, but perhaps a "readme" file should be included alongside the ISOs in the download folders.

@salome: 3.20 is not the problem. One hopes it is an improvement. The problem seems to lie with the gtk developers who do not respect the work of others sufficiently to allow theme authors enough time to respond -- and have broken theming over and over again in gtk3. I would certainly move to Qt if I did not find the programs I like the most based on gtk -- and one an integral part of Gnome.

@Oberon and philm: In updating my second machine I confirmed that not even a restart allowed Vertex to take effect fully (at least not in E), as in the pamac highlight bar, but things did right themselves after a shutdown and restart.

All that said, I'd like to repeat a special thanks to the Manjaro team.

It's a bash alias that used to be included in the standard manjaro .bashrc, but I just realize that it's not even the case anymore. So on newer systems you will have to use explicitly

finally solved my problem with a new installation of XFCE Manjaro, but now I have the problem of updating it gives error. to transfer it keychain gives unexpected error. necessary missing key on your keychain. key "8DB9F8C18DF53602" could not be looked up remotely
Would anyone give me a hand?

This virtual machine is a replica of my laptop, and I don't want to update the latter because others had this issue on a non-vm as well.
