[Request] Update Manager select options
« on: 22. February 2016, 20:42:54 »
It would be nice to right-click on the software-to-be-updated list and be able to "Select none" and "Select all" to make it easier when I just want to update one or two programs at the moment.

That won't happen. Either update all or none. However the is already an application which offers these options. It is called discover.

Code: [Select]
community/discover 5.5.4-1
A collection of package management tools for KDE

It is possible. In the Updates Manager, you have a checkbox to the left of the update name to deselect it, but beware if dependencies breakage.

Question is, can you right click and choose either "select all" or "select none"?
I think that's what the OP was asking about.

That is not a very good update methodology with Arch-based rolling releases...
