Hey ya'll

Ok, so I have the same issue. But I cannot even find AUR packages using the command line. For example, I ran

yaourt chrome

And I got nothing but the local repos result (community, multilib, etc) but NOTHING from aur. I have tried pamac, octopi, and even pacmanxxg. None give me aur results.

UPDATE

Still not working, so I tried to use the Arch forum link that was posted above. But when I ran:

mkdir make-package-query-git
cd make-package-query-git
wget https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/snapshot/package-query-git.tar.gz
tar xfz package-query-git.tar.gz
makepkg -Acs
sudo pacman -U package-query-git-1.8-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

I get to makepkg -Acs, I get this:

[wolf@wpmd-wolf make-package-query-git]$ makepkg -Acs
==> ERROR: PKGBUILD does not exist.

When I open the folder, PKGBUILD is there.

What am I missing?

if you posted all the command you did. it seems you forgot to enter in the directory where the PKGBUILD is to launch makepkg

No, I did enter the directory.

Tha said, I actually got it. I ram makepkg -si and it ran.

Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem. I  stiil get no aur results.

Ok, I got it. It seems I had package-query installed and it conflicted with package-query-git. I removed package-query and now I get my aur results.

Sorry to waste time!

I just would understand how it can works for some and not for others.. I have the package-query from manjaro repos. and I don't have any problems.

Package-query-git would have been installed by OP a few days ago when package-query was broken.
